Needing Food Assistance?
Northwest Christian Church has been serving people since January 2005 and has served over 50,000 meals to adults and children in the Newberg area. We operate solely through volunteers willing to help cook, serve, or clean-up.
Community Kitchen and Food Pantry
Are you experiencing food insecurity? Northwest Christian Church’s Community Kitchen welcomes all individuals or families who would benefit from a hot meal on Thursdays at the Newberg Campus or you can visit our free community food pantry to gather shelf stable food staples to help you and your family with food insecurities.
Overcoming Hangups and Addiction
Living in a broken world we all deal with life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. No one has the ability, nor should they attempt to face their hurts on their own.
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program for all of our hurts, hang-ups and habits. Regardless of what you’re struggling with the principles that lead to happiness and healing are always the same. You’ll find real answers, real hope, and a real future— one healing choice at a time. Weekly meetings are happening at all three of our physical campuses. Click the link below to find out more.
You Don't Have to Grieve Alone
Suffering loss and processing grief can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
GriefShare Ministry
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
Going through a Divorce or Separation?
Divorce is one of the most painful life events a person can go through. DivorceCare was created to provide unique support and encouragement that participants need during this time, by those who have experienced the same kind of separation.
Divorce Care Ministry
Divorce Care is a safe place where caring people come alongside you as you find healing from the pain of separation or divorce. At this 13-week, video-based support group program, you’ll find helpful counsel to manage the emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making.
Caring for someone with Memory Loss?
The “Memory Keepers” is a care group for caregivers of dementia patients.
Memory Keepers Meetings
This group is designed to provide a safe, judgement-free, confidential atmosphere of sharing for those who are caring for a family member suffering from dementia. It doesn’t matter if your family member resides in your home with you, or in a care facility.
Are You Interested in Counseling?
Life is full of complications, big decisions, and personal trials. If you are looking to speak with someone safe and able to share some biblically centered words of encouragement and wisdom, Christian counseling might be the opportunity for your time of need.
Pastoral and Professional Christian Counseling
If you or your family is in need of pastoral or professional Christian counseling, a member of our pastoral care team will be happy to meet with you and make a recommendation for a trusted Christian counselor or Pastor to discuss your situation.
Going Through a Life Crisis?
If you are experiencing a life crisis, Stephen Ministers are available to meet with you in person on a weekly basis to listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support.
Stephen Ministry
The Stephen Ministry exists to provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the NCC congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties. If you are interested in knowing more about this ministry, visit the Stephen Ministry page linked below.
You Are More Than Your Secrets.
Are you recovering from the impact of bad sexual choices. We are radically committed to helping others overcome sex addiction and to stopping the spread of pornography in our families, churches, and cities around the world.
423 Communities
423 Communities are for those who have tried and failed to achieve sexual purity. You are not alone. We meet for mutual support, accountability, and to honestly confess our utter dependence on Jesus Christ. You can share your story in a safe, confidential, and anonymous environment with other men or women who have achieved victory they never dreamed possible.
You can overcome sexual sin, but you can’t do it alone.
