Memory Keepers
The “Memory Keepers” is a care group for caregivers of dementia patients. This group is designed to provide a safe, judgement-free, confidential atmosphere of sharing for those who are caring for a family member suffering from dementia. It doesn’t matter if your family member resides in your home with you, or in a care facility.
It is open to the community, however, it is not led by medical professionals. It is in the style of a small study group and we use the Bible for our source of strength.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month, from 10AM – 11:30AM at the Newberg campus in room 203 (the main building).

You are not alone.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
When: Every Tuesday, starting March 29 through May 31
Time: 6:30 pm
Where: Newberg Campus, Room 204

Life Groups
At Northwest Christian Church, we believe in being a church community that is great at caring for one another. The primary way that we care for each other is through the solid relationships that are built in Life Groups.

Stephen Ministry
There are times when every one of us experiences difficulties; God never intended for us to go through these experiences alone. Our Stephen Ministers are members of the church who have received special training to provide confidential one-on-one emotional and spiritual care for people who are hurting. Stephen Ministers often care for those experiencing grief, loneliness, divorce, hospitalization, disability, job loss, and many other life difficulties.
To learn if you might benefit from this ministry, contact Mary Ruff and Linda Tompkins at stephenmin@mynw.cc

Pastoral Counseling
Our pastors are experienced in providing biblical counsel during difficult times. One of our pastors will first meet with you to learn about your situation and needs, then they will work with you to create a care plan that addresses the difficulties you are facing.
If you would like to arrange a visit with one of our pastoral team, email your request to: care@mynw.cc or call (503) 538-3104.
