CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Quest Kids is a caring community designed for children of all ages! We desire all kids, birth through fifth grade, to come experience Jesus in a safe and fun environment where they can grow in faith and relationships around them!
We want your kids to encounter Jesus!
Our curriculum is Bible-based, taught in kid-friendly wording that your child will understand. Our goal is that each child will walk away with a solid foundation of truth and excitement from what they learned Sunday mornings! We strive to partner with caregivers to be another voice in your child’s life so they will know, love, and live their life for Jesus Christ.

Adventure Camp

Kids going into 1st-3rd grade are invited to join us for our Adventure Day Camp. It will be three days of fun-filled adventure as we celebrate the good news that Jesus came to make sure everyone knows they are loved. We will spend each morning at the Tigard Campus enjoying amazing worship and learning incredible truths from the Bible. After eating lunch at the campus, we will head out for a fun field trip each afternoon. Transportation will be provided from the McMinnville and Newberg Campuses. Children should come dressed in clothes that they can play in and bring a lunch and a water bottle.

JUNIOR CAMP

“Dig It” is the theme for this week-long, overnight camp for kids going into 4th-6th grade. Kids will travel to Camp Wi-Ne-Ma on the beautiful Oregon coast for an amazing week making friends, having fun and learning about digging into God’s Word. This camp will give kids everything they are looking for in a week of camp from Bible stories, mission-centered lessons, cabin-mate bonding, outdoor and indoor recreation , and it all takes place in the amazing beauty of God’s creation. SOCCER CAMP

Join us for a fun-filled week as we learn the game of soccer from Likius Hafeni who has played and coached at all levels. Soccer Camp is designed to teach kids and youth the fundamentals of the game of soccer while also building friendships and having fun.
Skills will be taught in group settings and then those skills will be used in games. Our focus is to help kids improve their soccer skills by teaching trapping, dribbling, passing, ball mastery and understanding their role on the field.
WEEKLY QUEST KIDS PROGRAM
Each week, kindergarten through fifth graders are grouped into dynamic, kid-centered areas. Kids have the opportunity to be a part of an exciting and active environment filled with songs, games, relevant teaching, and dedicated volunteers. Each child gets to participate in his or her own small group as well as large group worship time. Small groups are where kids can connect with others and grow in their relationship with Christ, while large group is where kids’ hearts are engaged with music and the creative teaching of God’s Word through fun games, video, and stories!
NURSERY (0 - 24 MONTHS OLD)
Our nursery strives to partner with parents to grow kids in the areas of faith, character, and understanding God. We want your little ones to know that God made them, God loves them and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
PRESCHOOL (2 - 5 YEARS OLD)
Preschoolers are actively learning what life is all about, and it’s the perfect time to discover that God made us, loves us, and Jesus wants to be our friend forever! Your preschooler will learn about these truths through age-appropriate Bible stories, fun activities and real life application.
K-5TH GRADE
Each week, kindergarten through fifth graders are grouped into dynamic, kid centered areas. Kids have the opportunity to be a part of an exciting and active environment filled with songs, games, relevant teaching, and dedicated volunteers.

We love sharing the good news from the Bible with kids joining us online with their families.
Every week the Children’s Ministry team at Northwest Christian Church posts videos, parent guides, and companion resources for each of our Quest Kids lessons. We are excited to provide lessons, crafts and activities to do at home as a family!

STARTING SEPTEMBER 13TH & 14TH
Wednesday nights (starting September 13th) in McMinnville and Thursday nights (starting September 14th) in Newberg we offer our youth group programming for children in Kindergarten – Fifth Grade.
