Serving on a mission field is finding an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a hurting and confused world. NCC has several ways that people can make a difference in our world. We have taken trips to Mexico, Haiti, Honduras, the Dominican Republic and Cuba to name a few. There are some exciting trips planned for Kenya and Cuba in 2026.
Missions of Hope International is a Christ-centered NGO which seeks to transform the lives of children and families living in the slums of Nairobi and beyond. NCC has partnered with directors Wallace and Mary Kamau to help change the lives of our global neighbors living in extreme poverty. Through mission trips, financial support, sponsoring kids, and opportunities for education and prayer, NCC seeks to communicate the love of Jesus through physical and spiritual support.
Our next trip is planned for July 6-16, 2026.
Every year our high school students and adults head to Mexico during Spring Break to serve in Tijuana. The yearly trip has created relationships between the Tijuana community and our Newberg community. Our high schoolers look forward to this trip and making connections, building, serving, playing, and doing life together for this week.
Our next trip is planned for March 21-28, 2026.
This beautiful Caribbean island is just 90 miles off the southernmost tip of Florida, but it is far removed from American culture or influence. Political tensions and distrust have isolated Cuba from much of the outside world for generations, leaving a cloud of mystery and intrigue. Yet any misgivings about Cuba are quickly forgotten as soon as you meet the warm and welcoming people. The church, like other aspects of the culture, looks different than what we expect, yet it is vibrant and multiplying. During this trip we will work with local ministries to reach families in their community for Jesus.
Our next trip is planned for January 9-15, 2026.
If you have a heart to serve those outside our wall, we’d love to have you join us on one of our mission trips. Reach out and let us know what area you are interested in or any questions you have.
