Weekly Update 2.1.23

Well, we wrapped up our Soul Care Series and our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. And what a way to wrap it up—we had our All-Campus worship and prayer gathering Sunday night and it was great! Kerry, Kevin, Kara, Jephthah, and the choir did an amazing job in leading us to the Throne of Grace. Austin, Hayden, Kirby, Shirley, and the rest of the Tech team were amazing as well! And hats off to Theresa who helped us ‘break the fast’ with Apple Cobbler AND ice cream!

There was a sweet, sweet, spirit! Putting the “sticky notes” on the cross—was a moving moment. With messages like– Joyful in hope, Faithful in prayer. Be intentional, you are loved, Confidence, and many more! And the fellowship with all campuses was a blessing. The only glitch was the guy who tried to skip “leading” the final song, it was a little sad–that was me! But other than that, a great night! Thank you Lord.

Soundtracks is our new message series beginning this weekend. Your life has a soundtrack—we all do! Every note, lyric, and rhythm, make up a part of who we are. The question we’re asking is, what soundtracks are you playing in your mind, your life? Are your current soundtracks keeping your soul healthy or taking you down! This is what we’re exploring the next several weeks.

We believe this is an important follow up to our last series on Soul Care—because taking care of our soul is not a one-time shot. So the soundtracks we play will be important for us to continue to have a healthy soul!

We’re going to explore the soundtracks we’re currently playing—are the good, bad, ugly? We’re going to retire the broken ones. But more than just retiring the broken ones, the bad ones, the unkind ones, we need to replace them with the soundtracks that God has for us. Please join us and be praying for me as we start this series that many will be encouraged!

See you this weekend!
